Hey Returned home from my little "night shift" this night at 4 in the morning, tired, lower back was aching... lied down in the bed to get some sleep but as always I try to at least do a tiny Reiki treatment. Started with one hand on the hara and the other on the soulseat to ground and... as I called upon my favorite symbol "Raku" I could feel my lower back and abdomen fill up with bubbling, warm, soothing energy that stayed with me for about 5 minutes. I could feel how the energy (without any concious effort from me) was fixing the strain on the back and whatever needed to be repaired... like I was a car on a tune-up  Anything similar ever happened to you? love Michael |

Hi Michael I often feel a rush of energy when treating myself, and it leaves me feeling filled with love and warmth ;D So i guess that Reiki must love me too ;D love stef  |

So what triggered this event of "spontaneous healing" could seem to be my ablilty to love myself, subconciously at that point... like I was too tired to conciously resists love, instinct of self-preservation... perhaps a weird thought pattern but... I'm thinking about self forgiveness and self love and how issues with those could be an obsticle for self healing  ooops. more coffee love michael |

I'm thinking about self forgiveness and self love and how issues with those could be an obsticle for self healing ooops. more coffee love michael Hi Michael I agree with you there.....I went through a period when I 'wasn't happy with myself' and I found self treatment was difficult for me at that time, yet I was able to send Reiki to others easily.....I did feel the benefits of that, so Reiki was flowing for me ;D, but I was obviously blocking self treatment because of my state of mind at the time. Now I feel hapy with myself, I have sorted out the issues that I had.....and now, whenever I am feeling a bit down, or if I am in need of a boost, I find that Reiki seems to flow for me without me consciously asking for it ;D ;D Think I'll join you for a coffee  ;D ;D love stef |

Yes true. We should accept ourself with all our warts. And what better way to do that - by self forgiveness and self love. I can do with some coffee too.

When I woke up this morning I was feeling a bit run down.....hormones ........and didn't really feel like doing anything today , but I had to go out to do some shopping, so I dragged myself out of bed and reluctantly got on with what I had to do. While we were out, my husband wanted to go into a shop, so it was my turn to wait outside with the dog I was standing outside, not really concentrating on anything . and I felt that comforting tingling in my hands and feet, then I noticed that my third eye was pulsing.......without me consciously thinking about it ;D Reiki was flowing through me and making me feel a lot better ;D ;D I love Reiki, and Reiki must love me........it's always there when I need it ;D ;D ;D love stef |

I have been prone to coldsores since I was a child  but since my first attunement to Reiki I haven't had one ;D.....until this week.....as I mentioned in my previous post, I have been feeling a bit run down this week, and a couple of days ago I got that horrible feeling on my lip that I haven't felt for a long time now, I also noticed that I had a small blister there that was threatening to grow into a horrible coldsore ......I held my hands over my lips and gave Reiki to the area.........I also noticed that over the next 2 days I felt a tingling in my lip everytime I came onto the forum ;D ;D ;D.........I kept treating it with Reiki, and I kept visiting the forum ;D.......and the small blister never grew any bigger ;D ;D and today it has completely gone ;D ;D ;D Keep loving Reiki........and Reiki will keep loving you ;D ;D ;D love stef |

I am really glad that your blister not only had a stunted growth but also had a short life span. i am grateful to reiki for its benevolence.

Reiki has shown me love again ;D ;D ;D Last night while I was relaxing, I received a powerful energy surge of Reiki love. It felt as powerful as the Usui attunements I had over a year ago ;D ;D I had to ground myself after the surge finished, and I can still feel the Reiki flowing really strong today ;D ;D love stef |

Judging by all what i've just read i've come to the conclusion that reiki dosen't love me I reiki myself every single day, when i first started using reiki it took away about 80% of my aches and pains ;D but now it only seems to take away about 20% of them. Whats gone wrong?  Love Tracy |

Hi Tracy My view on this is that while Reiki helps and heals us in many ways, it cannot necessarily 'cure' everything......if it could, then none of us would die. For me, Reiki has been a great help. Before Reiki found me I was in constant, intense pain, which made it difficult for me to go about doing the things I needed to do. Reiki helped me to recover from the problems with my back, so I can now carry on with my day to day life........but I still have pain in my back every day, and I think that's there as a reminder that I have to be careful so that I don't do too much ;D It's not bad pain, but it's always there ;D I think that if Reiki can't 'cure' us, it is still there helping us to carry on with our lives in the best possible way. For me, it helps me to stay positive, and it helps me to accept that I may not be able to do the things that I could do 20 years ago, but there is still a lot that I can do to enjoy my life  Reiki is love, and Reiki does love everyone.....it just shows it in different ways love stef |
