Native American Wisdom about seing the sacredness
I was standing on the highest mountain of them all, and round about beneath me was the whole hoop of the world. And while I stood there I saw more than I can tell and I understood more than I saw; for I was seeing in a sacred manner the shapes of all things in the spirit, and the shape of all shapes as they must live together like one being. And I saw that the sacred hoop of my people was one of many hoops that made one circle, wide as daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one mighty flowering tree to shelter all children of one mother and one father. And I saw that it was holy.

Native American Wisdom about experiencing nature
The beauty of the trees, the softness of the air, the fragrance of the grass, speaks to me. The summit of the mountain, the thunder of the sky, the rhythm of the sea, speaks to me. The strength of the fire, the taste of salmon, the trail of the sun, and the life that never goes away, they speak to me. And my heart soars.

Great Spirit, great overlooking light, great heart and mind, great intelligence--
It is in this magnificence in which we walk each day. All the days of our life on earth, may we feel the blessing of the gift of grace.
For those who have so suddenly departed this walk on solid ground, may we send blessings on to light your way and may we remember you fondly as we hope you will remember us.
Now in the world of the Ancestors, you Spirits now, see your way with Light and carry Love still in your hearts as we still have love and longing for you.
Release us in peace as we wish this for you. Blessings on you, you Spirits now. Walk in Light.

The Clouds that Creator has created sometimes have a message. The wind carries her own message and so does the water. Sometimes you can see Ancestors of long ago in the clouds. Sometimes you can hear them as they talk, sing, and cry. Sometimes I can see them looking down at us. Their faces so clear to me. Many wise leaders of that time. Many with a heart that breaks when we DisHonor them. Many with a heart to Forgive. The voices of our Ancestors will never fade. They will always be with us. They will always walk along side us. They will guide us. They wiil show us the right path to take.

Native American wisdom about life
What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.
