What is tranquility and where can we find that low door in the garden wall that leads to it? We search for it frantically and never find it.
Tranquility is not the same as laziness. Laziness is the habit of resting before you are tired.
Tranquility is not with those who insist their lives have been destroyed by others. Those who know tranquility take responsibility for their own lives.
Tranquility is one of those things that is harder to find the more frantic your search for it. Relax and let it find you.
The tranquil heart cares not what others think.
A tranquil mind is paradise found.

Tranquility is a state of peace and quiet, a disposition free of stress and "emotion". In Indian scriptures, tranquil mind is a mind which is in balance both during the times of elation and stress. And yes it is a paradise found. In fact the fundamental goal of life in these scriptures is to attain this state of Tranquil mind and you continue to incarnate for the same.
