Hello everybody,
I strongly feel that we should do something special for a man who was loved by many and who touched their hearts. Pay tribute, if you like
I don't know what yet, but I would like to start a thread here where we plant a few seeds of ideas. I'm thinking it might be more apropriate to do something on the day of his funeral or soon after.
Stef, if you're reading this, please feel free to give your input. I will give this some serious thought.
With love and respect,
Danny

Thanks Danny I don't have any ideas at the moment, I don't know when the funeral will be yet but I'll let you know as soon as I can arrange it.........there are things to be done before the funeral can be arranged. Anyone who lives near the sea can send a thought to Mick when they are looking out to sea..........He loved the sea, loved looking at the waves and hearing them. love stef

Don't worry Stef, Any arrangements for my proposal can be taken care of by me and/or the wonderful staff on this forum. You have more than enough to cope with at this time. I was trawling various forums last night and the tributes keep pouring in for Mick. Stef, I know you won't see it now, but you will gain so much spiritually through all of this and please know there is purpose to it and your loving Mick will only ever be a thought away from you. The bonds of love are never broken. I so wish there was more I could do for you. Please know that you are constantly in my thoughts. You have loads of good people around you to help carry you through. With loads of love, Danny

I do have an idea.... What about the day of the funeral we shut the site down or have a page come up with his picture and thoughts about his life and contributions in his honor. A link at the bottom of the page that people can go to and find his energy is still there (well it still is on this forum and ever will be) but you know what I mean.... Sorry I just don't want to say the wrong thing. He is amazing, I just can't think of him in the past. He has touched so many that he didn't even really know. His energy and his spirit in life go on and on............ Maybe also a place that people can write their thoughts on Mick and leave some kind words for Stef and Mick memory. love ruth

Ruth........and everyone else I've made this board so that people can write what they want here. Everybody is free to post what they want..........a tribute to Mick and the many lives he has touched I'd prefer not to shut the site down on the day of his funeral, because I want everyone here to be part of that day however far away you all are, you are all as much a part of his funeral as me and his family because you were all a part of his life, so it would be nice for you all to come here at whatever time of day suits you so that you are present at his funeral in spirit I'll let you know when the funeral is and what the plans are as soon as it is arranged Mick's energy is everywhere here, and it always will be love stef

I'm a new member, in fact, I'm still trying to find out how to use this but believe me, somehow, Mick is special to me too as yesterday I must have found a link to his site, I don't remember but suddenly I was there reading everything I could find and thinking about the person who started that site and I tried to find information about the author as obviously I knew his name was Mick until finally I related him to this site (freereiki) because I had seen the same name and came to check because I wanted to know more about him. I really didn't know at the moment if it was the same person, anyway, the most important thing is that I kept thinking about the person and the site feeling love and gratitude to whoever that person was and I went to bed thinking that I was very lucky to have run into that site because I had felt as if I had just found something valuable as well as answers I was looking for. Now when I read about his death, it hurt me, so I really believe that somehow I felt his loving energy because eventhough this has happened to me on other ocassions, now the feeling was so clear and strong , thanks Mick and blessings to all

Thanks Solpec,
Mick was a loving, compasionate and gifted Man. He was waaay ahead of his time and left us this gift of a place.
Your words are a further, beautiful tribute to him. His presence is still with us on Free Reiki.
Love and best wishes, Danny
