I thank you all Will try to give you an update my friend is a bit slow (behind ) letting Monica know radiotherapy was some weeks ago and yes over that. Now in the last week of first round of chemo and experimental treatment .If I can stand it nine rounds to go. At this point my hair is falling out I am told I will lose all body hair been a bit sick not to bad at this point .Had a problem having a pee could not pee at all one trip to emergency and have a tube and a bag strapped to my leg this procedure is not something I would wish on any one .however I am thankful to the female doctor and nurses not sure if they were enjoying it or not I know I wasn’t .I am being told how brave I am this is not true you can be brave only if you have a choice I don’t have one .No not brave .I am finding the more you can relax and let it roll over you the better it is .I wont know if any of this is helping till tests in around four weeks time .If any of you find your self in this situation and one in six of you will I would recommend finding a trial. The drug company coordinator is at every appointment giving helpful hints keeping an eye on me and the drug company is paying for it all .Not that is a problem for me as our system is free any way Just means extra care and if it don’t help me it might help some one else .If I was to give advice on how to cope it would be meditation and stay grounded and do not over think and keep your mind positive consider the options then put aside bad thinking meditation being the most important I know easy said however I don’t see a choice .will keep you updated when i can

Dear Sidney, Keep strong my friend, the children I help care for go through chemo and radiotherapy every day. If they can keep smiling so can you. Sending Reiki to you and fingers crossed this trial will give you more time. With your hair going just think of the money you are saving on shampoo, you could even get a funky wig  Peace be with you, the world is a richer place with you in it Sammi |

Thank you all And dear Sammi Yes even baby’s are borne with cancer it is a curse to see kids however I would like to have the recuperative powers of a ten year old that would be nice .and if the treatment was a cure for me would be even better however its not .and it’s the complications I could do without .I have just got out of hospital .after stones in the bladder a prostrate resection (rebore) and tube dilatation Not much fun .back on next round of chemo tomorrow .I am not complaining in fact thankful to have a shot at living a little longer . so far so good cheers and love to all Sidney.
