Hi all, today my manager ask me to give a reiki session, and when I arrive to the cabin, the lady was taking a manicure and pedicure session as well, I try to do reiki for her, but there was another two girls touching her, and she was on a massage chair, she ask me to give reiki on the head and face, well I try to do it, but I don´t feel reiki in my hands, I send my intention and love to her, but I don´t know if she really feels reiki. Do you think that reiki was there?. thanks for your help.

Hello reikitty, I know my response is way overdue but perhaps my reply can be of some use in the future. I would have explained politely to the women that the Reiki session is between you, (the Practitioner) and her (the Recipient). She should be relaxed and not pre occupied by others preforming other procedures to her during the Reiki Session. This would detract from the energy flow. That you would return when she could set aside (the time needed) for you to complete the Reiki Session without interruption. I think you should explain the same to your manager so you are not put in this awkward situation again. You may have not felt the Reiki flowing through your hands because you were comfortable with the overall situation. Once you are attuned to Reiki, the Reiki Energy is active in you for life. Reiki was there even though you didn’t feel it flow through your hands. Not all recipients feel the Reiki but it is still there, it flows to where it is needed and it will continue to work for some time after the session is finished.
Peace ~ Love & Light, Chevy
