Hi Pearl, Had a bit of fun with your questions ;D Love this kind of stuff 1. After you take a bath you're clean but wet, so you dry yourself with a towel. Why do you have to wash the towel? Isn't clean? 1A. Use the same towel for a month and you will find out2. Where does the white go when snow melts? 2A. www.opticsforkids.com/resources/Scattering_1.pdf3. Do blind people have dreams? If they do, do they know what they are seeing? 3A. vision.about.com/od/severevisionloss/f/blinddreams.htm4. Would a fly without wings be called a walk? 4A. No I think I would call it dead5. Why do they call Greenland Greenland when it's all ice, and Iceland Iceland when it's all green? 5A. Ask someone in Greenland and Iceland6. Why is the meaning of life hard to find when you have a dictionary? 6A. because you don’t find the answer to life in a book (your life is not written) 7. If you're in a car travelling at the speed of light, what happens if you put on the headlights? 7A. www.sfsite.com/fsf/2006/pmpd0604.htm8. Why is it that when you transport something by car, it's called a shipment, and when you transport it by ship, it's called a cargo? 8A. if you put the car in the ship then it’s all cargo9. If 'practice makes perfect' and 'nobody is perfect', why bother practicing? 9A. it’s more fun ;D 10. Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle? 10A Glues or adhesives tend to work in one of three basic ways: • Some work by “drying” out (in fact the solvent evaporates, concentrating the chemicals). • Some work by reacting chemically with the air (oxidation) to change the chemicals into adhesives. • Then there are other types you may have used which need mixing in two parts (each part alone won’t set). I am guessing that you are asking about the first two types. When they’re inside the tube the solvent can’t evaporate, nor can the air get to the chemicals, so until they come out, they won’t stick!Lot's of fun, thank you for the excellent questions. I must get out more ;D Love George

Hello,
If money doesnt grow on trees then why do banks have branches?
Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
Why do you still call it building when its already built?
If its true that we are here to help others, what are others here for?
If you arent supposed to drink and drive why do bars have parking lots?
We are a funny bunch of people, arent we!! ;D
God Bless Pearl

Hi Pearl, The questions are getting better and my answers are fading a bit ;D But I still had a go at them If money doesn’t grow on trees then why do banks have branches? The more branches a tree has the more green stuff it can grow, the more green stuff the happier the bank Why does a round pizza come in a square box? Have you ever tried to get a square pizza out of a square box ;D Why do you still call it building when it’s already built? Building, a structure with walls and a roof such as a house or factory, or the business of making these, Built was found in the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary at the entries listed below, still shows “built” with other options • build (MAKE) • built-in • built-up • custom-built • in-built • jerry-built • purpose-built • well-built • build around sth • build sth in/into sth • build on sth • build (sb/sth) up (INCREASE) • build sth/sb up (PRAISE) • Rome wasn't built in a day. • built-in/planned obsolescence Or we could look at a “building” as not complete but ready to be “built-up” when the family grows and we need more space If it’s true that we are here to help others, what are others here for? To help them selves from the kind people of this world If you aren’t supposed to drink and drive why do bars have parking lots? Strange this one, it’s so drunk drivers can leave the car and collect it when they sober up (strange habit) Love George

5. Why do they call Greenland Greenland when it's all ice, and Iceland Iceland when it's all green? Realestate agents wanted people to buy the icy land of Greenland, and by the time Iceland got a good reputation, so they didn't need a good name.
