Orange Vanilla Smoothie (serves2)
In a blender, mix until liquefied:
Juice of 4 oranges
A handful of fresh strawberries, green tops removed
Some unsweetened Almond milk with vanilla flavoring
1 Tbsp. whole flaxseeds
Whirl it in the blender, adding the almond milk to taste. You may also add frozen berries of any variety. For a thicker smoothie, add 1/2 banana or the flesh of one avocado (peel and seed it first.)
It's a yummy way to sneak extra fruit & veg servings into your day.
