Yet another new member here to say Hi. A bit of background? I've been aware of Reiki for more or less 3 years now, but have only recently become a practitioner. I intend to use it semi-professionally, as I am a veterinary technician in the USA. In addition, I feel it is my duty and responsibility to teach others as soon as I am comfortable with my understanding and familiarity with the system and the energies. My first attunement came by way of the Chikara-Reiki-Do ( chikara-reiki-do.com ) system of self-instruction and self-attunement. Although it contained a fair understanding of the Usui Shiki Ryoho system as well as a basic portion of Tibetan Reiki, I couldn't help but feel that the system was either insufficient or inadequate for me. This led me to eventually find Master Leo of www.reikisecrets.com . This was my second attunement and initiation. Although he still provides the attunement for free, the lack of documentation and proper instruction is a drawback. Okay, it's time for me to step down off of the soap box. I've already said more than most of you probably want to read.

I have a question I think, Can Reiki help you to see past life problems Be well, George Difficult to answer. Although the energy itself will transcend time, I'd think it would rely on more than just Reiki to open you to this. I'm sure there are dozens of viewpoints, so I can only provide one opinion amongst many. I happen to know that I hold myself to a penance due to things of which I felt myself at least partially responsible in a past life. However, I knew of this before beginning work in Reiki, and it was a subconscious choice to hold myself back on that regard. In addition, the Reiki healing and attunements have not brought forward any details or new information regarding this. How does my experience apply to you? The way I see it, if something from a former life is having a harmful effect on you, a Reiki healing may bring forward the feelings involved so you can deal with them and come to terms with or at least acknowledge its presence. I don't think that Reiki would help you see the details behind the event(s), or even provide insight at all if the event isn't having a directly negative effect on you. If you truly wish to get in touch with the details on past-life problems, you may wish to consider using a guided meditation or hypnosis. Even a reading from the Tarot or another direct divination method is likely to provide more detail and understanding in this regard. If anyone else has an opinion or view they'd like to share, please do so!
