What do you feel when you send Reiki?

I thought I'd ask this question as it is something I was asked a few days ago so I've been trying to isolate all the different sensations that I feel, and put them into words......

I've also noticed something new, that I've only been conscious of for a few days now and I wondered if anyone else felt anything similar.

A few days ago, when I was sending Reiki to all the people on my list I noticed that my right cheek was itching, I thought it was my hair, so I went to brush the hair away, but there was no hair there.......since then I have had the same feeling for a few seconds every time I send Reiki......same cheek, same place. It is not something that I am aware of feeling before.

Other sensations I feel when I send Reiki are hot and tingly hands and feet ;D I also feel twitching in various areas of my body.....the muscles in my legs and arms, and often in my back. I also feel different sensations on my fingertips, and I feel my chakras pulsing....especially my heart, solar plexus and brow ;D

So what do you guys feel?....make a note next time you send Reiki.......it may surprise you

I too feel the tingles and chakras pulsing, especially in my crown/brow chakras. I also get a rushing of warm energy occasionally. Just a thought, does the feeling on your cheek feel like cobwebs? it could be your guide just letting you know they are with you. YOu could ask them to touch your nose or ear and see if the feeling is the same or similar.

It's just a little tickle that lasts for a couple of seconds.....sometimes it comes back again, sometimes not....it's only just started happening a few days ago ;D Feels kinda nice in a strange way ;D ;D

Just sent reiki to my mom and my hands feels tingly.
My hands don't get warm, but i feel a magnetic pull from my hands. Sometimes i feel something like someone blows cold air at me

Hi

I get tingly in my hands and feet, and sometimes it becomes stronger and is more like a pulsing feeling. I feel extreme heat in my palms when handling certain crystals, and often get little pokes in various places that have an "electric" feel to them. I like Val's suggestion that Reiki guides may be making their presence felt.

Hi to all,

It's been changing for me... since I am so new at this I really wasn't sure what would be. I see colors when I close my eyes( once when they were open) mostly a blue med. to deep that turns into violet like the aurora borealis.
It was only my left hand that tingled now it's both. The colors take a while to come to me though and they used to be more instant.
My feet sometimes tingle.
When I receive reiki it's like my heart fills with this incedible love that I never want to go away becuase that is how everybody should feel all the time.
Sometimes my heart just fills anyways. It would be nice to always be that way because it feels like thats the way it should be always for everyone. I feel really empty and alone when that feeling goes.
Go figure that one!!??
It is a changing process for me and even the colors I see are changing - reds are starting to show up , turquoise , some green, yellow, orange. Don't know why?
There has been so much going on my life lately that I've had a hard time concentrating to send Reiki as my mind has been wandering. I'm doing it anyways and trying to be gentle on myself even if I can't concentrate like I should.

I often feel that too ;D But I don't feel empty and alone when it's gone because I know that it's still there, even if I'm not feeling it anymore.......it leaves me feeling warm. My heart races and I'm feel like I'm filled with love.

Hi all,

The other day(Thursday March 2nd), at early dawn, I sat to do some Hastu Rei Ho. I had not done Reiki in a long time and so will so some energy exercices to warm up. I wasn't sure if I would be able to feel it though, since I had not done it in a long time.

However with the little hope I started to do it. I closed my eyes and just started to take deep breaths, when my left cheek itched thrice. I immediately put my hand to soothe it and just as I had done it, I realised that it could be my Guardian Angel who had reminded me that he/she/it was with me. I remembered this post at once and that's what made me remember. I felt deeply thankful and emotional at once and contemplated on that. It happened only once. It was a wonderful moment for me and it also happened on one of my special days of the week, i.e., Thursday.

Then yesterday my nose twitched a little and I thought it was my Guardian Angel calling to me, but I was doing Reiki intentionally at that moment, so I don't know ;D.

There's always signs around us.....feeling and seeing them isn't the problem.....it's finding out what they mean, but if it's anything important, then you will find out soon
