Hi dear friends. I must admit I've been planning on asking this question for a couple of weeks now Besides sports like martial arts and such, how do you practice Reiiki and sports? I'm thinking like Reiki and Ice-Hockey, Reiki and SpeedWay, Reiki and Cricket... Seriously, I'd love to learn from your experience how you have combined Reiki with your sport. love Michael

Hi Michael At the moment all I can do is visualise myself running, going to gym and dancing. Hopefully I'll be able to do something soon. In my head I'm going to run the London Marathon this Sunday in less than 4 hours ;D ;D love stef

Yeah Stef! I love your attitude I hope that when you visualize yourself as the winner, you can let the price-money manifest right there in your bankaccount love Michael

Hi Michael Any money I raise from long distance running has always gone to charity. It makes it easier to do the distance if it's for a worthwhile cause. love stef

In fact, I am glad you asked. I have experimented using Reiki with my golf game and have had generally positive results. That doesn't mean I am a good golfer. I think the Reiki has helped me go from a horrible golfer to a somewhat horrible golfer. Seriously, treating myself prior to taking to the course and watching my breath as I come down from my backswing has helped. It really has. Very interesting topic.

I'm happy you found it useful in Golf. I could easily use one of the principles in that game. I must admit I wasn't dead serious posting this topic but thinking a bit further it must be very useful, any spiritual practice when it comes to focusing on the task in hand, that being sport or whatever we are trying to accomplish. Thanks for helping me think love Michael

Well I'm off to the Gym for the day on Sunday ;D ;D Don't know how much I'll be able to do, any impact exercises are out, but I feel ready to try some exercise now ;D Went into the arcades on the seafront a few days ago and I was messing around on a mountainbike simulator , so I should be able to manage an exercise bike and a few other things. Want to get the old heart rate going ;D I'll be Reiki-ing myself beforehand and I'll probably go for a bit of Reiki in the sauna afterwards ;D I'll let you know how I get on...........If I can love stef
