A little nagging question, and I'd like to have some input please... Why would someone send Reiki through time, in example to a specific event or childhood/birth... time is just a statistic and all that ever existed and still exist is right about now. or love Michael

;DHi Michael, Very good question after my reiki 2 attunement i was told how to send reiki to the past, the idea is to send it to times in your life when things were bad, abused, peope hurt you, parents did not love or care about you, that is my big issue but i don't dwell on them rejecting me anymore I remember trying to send reik to my past a few times but not sure what it did ? Sending to the future is good works very well, send to a job interview, going to the dentist, even going on a plane or car journey etc. Sending distat healing to a person in the future very easy just connect in a way that works for you, then say i would like to send reiki to mickuk at 10 am next friday let the energy flow and thats it job done. Distant attunements very handy for doing them on people in other countries when the day or hour suits them but not you, all you have to do is state your intent that the person receives the attunement on the day, date and time that you want love, Mick edit, sorry missed a very important part of sending reiki to the past, you have to forgive the people that hurt you.

With all the new thought around the nature of time, space and reality in general (For example, see the film "What the Bleep--Down The Rabbit Hole"), it strikes me that time and space are variables and only fixed by our inability to imagine them differently. I believe as we evolve our approach to time will too.
Or going back to time and space discussions in "Down The Rabbit Hole"...there may be an infinite number of time lines along which variables, actions and effects of actions are quite different than the time line we live on. What if the evolution of consciousness on a mass level caused a collapse of one time line into another? But perhaps that's too far down the Rabbit Hole for now.
But I would believe that the past can be healed by reiki so it is not repeated or its effect is lessened.

I'm not sure about sending to the past, that would change the way the future now develop, though I believe you can send healing to heal yourself now from what happened in the past. But I haven't really figured it out how it works yet Another treatment that I have found helpful in this matter is asking St Michael to cut the carmic bands to all the negative situations and/or people from the past.

This such a hard subject to pin an answer to as it will/can mean many things to many people.
Someone suggested to me that 'past lives' I had led were affecting me now and a good way to deal with them would be past life therapy and doing reiki on me while I was reliving each traumatic life. Basically I am a result of a rape on my mother by a much older and powerful man. After many years my mother has retreated into Xtianity but that is not the way for me. I had let the means of my birth colour the way I think of myself and the way I once allowed people to treat me.
The Therapist took me back to before I was conceived and healed past lives for me. When it came to my conception she sent healing to my mother and forgiveness to my father. She then sent reiki to me as I grew in the womb.
This session changed my life and gave me such strength and showed me that with the right intention most things can be cured or made more bearable.

Well, that sure sounds like sending back in time, i guess I'll have to reconsider my opinion on this subject. This is a really fascinating object, to remove the pain from the past without changing the past until the moment of now, that is a fascinating thought.
