Is Energism compatible with Reiki?

Hi.

I've been told that our fine art painting style known as Energism uses concepts very similar to Reiki. Given some leeway for artistic interpretation, I'm wondering if this art jives with Reiki principles? Your gentle comments are appreciated.

I guess my question should be reframed.
The energy patterns in the paintings are correct with respect to Tai Chi, but I'm not sure about Reiki.
I was hoping someone would look at the paintings and tell me.

Nice paintings....
without being an expert of the subject, I'd say both yes and no. Reiki energy isn't exactly the same as Chi, as in Thai Chi, but I can't say that it don't look like that as it pours out of the hand chakras...

In my experience reiki is compatible with any energy, but the only way to find out for sure is to try it. Reiki works through intent, so if your intent is for it to work alongside energism, I'm sure you'll get positive results ;D
