Hi Michael,
I'm not a coffee addict but I do enjoy chocolate more than I should sometimes. I've managed to stop the intense daily cravings by eating more wholesome foods and cutting out refined sugar, salt and flour. I guess willpower and determination played a major role too since this is something I've wanted to do for years and finally just did it.
Lots of luck, gypsy

Hi Michael When I stopped the coffee (used to have a 10+ a day habit ) I felt tired and a bit irritable for about 5 or 6 days, then one morning, I woke up and just felt really awake ;D When you drink lots of coffee, you don't sleep properly so you wake up tired in the morning and drink more coffee to wake you up. when you get it out of your system you sleep better and wake up feeling refreshed (most mornings ) love stef Who loves coffee but can't drink it anymore as it makes me ill

LOL +10 cups of coffee is a lot of stuff. My limit is +3 but it is really enough (beside I appreciate some diet coke during the day.) Mainly I try to be aware of what I´m eating, it is not only vegetarian, but I´m eating a lot of salat, fruit and vegatables. At the moment I´m trying out to make fresh vegetable juices. Wonderful taste.....and very healthy with blessings, dancingwind

Hi Stef! LOL +10 cups of coffee is a lot of stuff. My limit is +3 but it is really enough (beside I appreciate some diet coke during the day.) Yeah it was a lot but I don't drink diet coke (or any other fizzy drinks) I am very conscious of what I eat, and do follow a very healthy diet that suits me. When I do occasionally stray from my diet and eat foods that are less healthy (biscuits, cakes, sugary sweet stuff etc.) I do notice a big difference. I tend to feel tired, or my skin gets a bit spotty or dry. I have followed a strict vegan diet for about 8 years now and have noticed the benefits. I didn't switch to a vegan diet for the health benefits though, but it didn't take me long to notice how much better I felt ;D. Remember, You are what you eat - and drink ;D love stef
