I wanted to ask you if you saw the movie. I didn't. Some people say there is a scene in which Sophie Neveu gives Reiki to Robert Langdon. Or, at least, there is an energy work. What do you think?

Hi Monica, asked my wife about the film ;D no not seen it due to being in the cinema we have to wait 2 years b4 they show them on sky tv movie channels and we pay too wait ;D ;D ;D not sure about this but my wife says the film is based on the book which takes the mick out of the bible, not sure about this and don't want to upset anyone love, mick |

Hi, Mick Yes, it is based on the controversial book of Dan Brown. At least here it was a real hysteria ;D ;D ;D. Some said they found the truth, at last; others said it is a stupid thing and they let it go. And some were very very angry. I guess everyone should have an opinion, right? With love, Monica |

I just finised rereading the book. Interestingly, the book does not have the energy work sence. I wonder who put it in there?

I loved the book - my kids got it for me for Mothers' Day last year and I read it in a day - I couldn't put it down. An exciting, entertaining read which not only takes the mick out of the Bible but also the Catholic Church as does Dan Brown's other book, Angels and Demons. I think both definitely need to be taken with a very large grain of salt. Like Mick I don't mean to offend anyone here.
I've heard that the movie is nowhere near as good as the book - I'll be waiting for it to come out on DVD to see for myself.

I did see the movie and read the book. book was great. movie so-so. But I too thought the same thing. It definitely was an energy healing, and I also thought it may have been reiki. If nothing else it may get people to ask questions and search for answers. And with a bit of luck many more people will discover Reiki.
