Hi newsin I have looked at this briefly before as I know someone who is a practitioner of this energy. But my belief is that all energy healing is drawn from the universal life energy, so once you are attuned to one system there is no real need for further attunements, just use whatever symbols/meditations/rituals that you feel guided to use. They are all part of the same energy. love stef  |

Hi stef  well i mean the stuff they introduce like viewing the aura,reading the chakra and so on they are quite useful for a beginner I think its okay to get a few more technique as a plus because the source of healing energy is the same |

Hi newsin I understand your point, it is very useful to be able to read auras and chakras, but this all comes with practice and work. The attunement to chios energy will help you to be more perceptive, but it will not immediately enable you to view auras. We live in a society of labour saving devices, short cuts, making life a bit easier….and I believe that too many people are going for attunement after attunement to boost the energy quickly, without doing the work and study properly, so they are not learning the full potential of Reiki. Dr Usui did not have multiple attunements…..he put years of work into his healing and teaching. By going for multiple attunements people are moving further and further away from the traditions and the principles of reiki. One of the principles is ‘I will do my work honestly’. To me that means that you have to be honest to yourself as well as to others, and you have to put some effort into whatever you are doing. I have worked with Usui Reiki for almost a year now, and I have found that by working with the energy and trying different things, my energy has increased and I have become more perceptive at noticing different sensations in auras. It didn’t all just happen after my attunements, but it does come in time if you work at it. If you expect everything to happen overnight then you may be disappointed. love stef |
