How has Reiki made a difference to your life, how you live and how you live your life alongside others?.After attunement did your views upon life change dramatically?, did you notice a change in yourself?.
Ive yet to be have attuned to Reiki, i have to find someone who will attune me over distance.Im curious to understand how attunement and development of reiki affects a person.

Hi Paul Great question..........it might take a few goes to answer it though ;D ;D ;D I'm definately more relaxed than I used to be. I'm able to focus on 'problems' in my life, and work them out easier, rather than wasting time stressing over them ;D I'm a lot happier than before Reiki........people often give me strange looks as I'm walking through town with a silly grin on my face ;D ;D ;D ;D I'm more self confident ;D ;D It has taken time.......but it's certainly improved my life a lot ;D ;D I'll add more as I think of more ways Reiki's changed my life ;D ;D ;D love stef

haven't been attuned that long... but to my partner and others around me, it seems my patience has grown by miles... am also able to get out of "circumstantial myopia" a lot easier and faster now. that's it so far, apart from the obvious benefits of reiki. shiro

Wow Paul a loaded question there It's different to each of us, since there are different reasons why we have choosen this path. Think of this path as a river with many different streams going into it, but end result is they all flow into a ocean. Reiki is that ocean. Our 'steams' are all different, some are narrow, others are fearce streams, yet others are delicate trickles of water. Soo my friend, the reasons are vast. :DI choose it for the reason of wanting to do reiki on myself. I was going through a bit of dark phase and the reiki would give me a lift in my spirit. The lady that I went to left that business and than it got me thinking and the research began........... It has changed me drastically, I'm calmer, nicer , and have an all around better attitude about life. Even through those days of self doubt (hey we all get them ) It had opened a door for me to new friends, some are long distance, but I feel as close to them as my friends I have around me. So I ask you this, what are you expecting from reiki? As life Paul, it is what you make it. Work hard and anything you do will prosper ;D ruth

Hi Paul, Someone asked me the other day if I had changed since I started reiki and my answer was, I think I changed or started changing before I found reiki, and that reiki was a natural progression along the spiritual path I had chosen. If anything it has made me think more deeply about things and I feel more "attached" to the world around me. Pepsi x

Thanks for replying everybody!. ... Ruth: ill be honest with your question to what i expect from reiki. For a long time i have sent out thoughts of healing and well being to many different people...people i know and others who i just 'bump' into..complete strangers.I feel that reiki would empower the healings i send, that maybe i could gain some kind of structure to how i send my healings..The pathway i walk is a 'spiritual' path to speak of and would like to bring a greater element of healing into my life. ;D thankyou! P.S i like your philosophy of the rivers and streams running into the ocean that is reiki...

Hi Paul Great question. I don't think there is a universal answer that can apply to all of us so I just have to give an answer from my perspective I still have a "normal" life (whatever that is) Of course the change has been huge since I was somewhat of an ateist previous to get the idea of getting attuned to Reiki so for me the change has been dramatic. For a person already involved in spiritual practice - the change might be a bit easier. On the other hand if one is involved in a traditional religious practice... it is possible that one might need to re-evaluate one or two things It all depends on who you are, your view of life, your way of life and your experience.. all those things... so it is completely individual (in my humble opinion) The attunement is a ritual that opens a door - a connection to... whatever we call it due to our cultural and religious background... something sacred/holy/god. Let love rule Michael

One way, one small way, that Reiki has changed my life...
I used to always be snacking at night or whenever, because I would need to take an acetametophin or an ibuprophen, and without the snack the painkillers would make my stomache hurt.
Then I was attuned, and I didn't get headaches or muscle aches as often. Then I realized... Why not Reiki myself first! So I did. And it worked, of course. So now I'm not snacking as much! And I'm not killing my stomache lining with painkillers! lol.

hmmm... one other thing that being attuned to reiki has done for me is increase my awareness. mind you, it doesn't mean that i've automatically become a "better" person, i still fall (quite often actually ) to unhealthy cravings and modes of behaviour... but i recognise them for what they are now, whereas before i would often get swept along by the tide of self-destruction... reiki has given me a choice now. and while i don't follow it all the time... i will... in my own time. ;D ;D ;D congratulations on your attunement paul! welcome to the reiki world!

I dicovered Reiki when my mum started to go for help with chemo side effects and the upset of knowing she was dying, that takes it toll on anyone mentally as you can imagine. If it works for people in that position it will work for anyone....whos willing. Thanks for the welcome La....

Ive definetly noticed changes within myself.
Im no angel and am not perfect or never will be but I certainly feel a lot calmer, more self control, I get less annoyed by things and things dont linger in my mind and fester away as much I have started to feel much more carefree about life in general but not in a negative way!
My confidence has definetly grown and I do take things a lot less seriously now. I have more enegry and while I still suffer from insomnia I do seem to cope with it much better and so far Ive had more self control when going out rather than getting totally paraletic in that sense I do have more self control and more awareness about what Im doing/thinking etc!
Ive also dyed my hair bright pink and started doing other things I wanted to do for a long time! I no longer care what others think of me half as much if at all, long as Im doing nobody any harm them......if other people have a problem with me then I suppose thats really their problem!
Im just happier in myself!
