Rava/Semolina Kesari Ingredients 2 cups rava (semolina/sooji) 2 1/2 cups sugar 3 cups water 1 to 1 1/4 cup ghee (clarified unsalted butter) (you can use less ghee if you like, I used about 1/2 cup or more ghee ;D ;D I do not know how this recipe will taste with plain unsalted butter) It sure tastes great with lots of ghee ;D ;D 7 to 8 cardamon, seeds crushed few cashewnuts and raisins orange food color one pinch Saffron one pinch Method Roast the cashews first and then raisins in a little ghee and keep aside. Roast the semolina in the same pan until red. Mix water and keep stirring continuosly to avoid any lumps. Add the orange food color with the water. Add sugar and saffron when semolina is all cooked and stir well. Mix in the cardamon and the rest of the ghee. Garnish with roasted cashews and raisins. Serve hot and enjoy ;D. love Sridevi
