Hello Friends,
Many of us, without exception, have fallen prey to this weakness. Hope this article help to self-analyse & manage this uncontollable & at times difficult mood.............reducing to level of immaturity.
Short Term Management:
Anger exists in the mind and is the direct result of our thoughts. An event does not make you angry, but your interpretation of event that how you feel and think about it can lead to anger.
1. Avoid haste, it is the commonest predisposing factor for anger.
2. Avoid occasion, which produce anger.
3. Never be in hurry.
4. Have time management and self-management.
5. Go for your work quietly, lovingly and gently.
6. Keep your mouth shut and lips sealed, whenever you start feeing angry.
7. Recite spiritual words such as Aum, Aum. These sacred words will keep you relaxed and remain in peace, joy and harmony.
8. Take few deep breaths evenly and deeply.
9. Count upto 100, depending upon how strong is the emotion of anger.
10. Go for a brisk walk.
11. Drink a glass of water, when you start feeling angry.
12. Wash your face or take a quick bath.
13. Divert your attention in music.
14. Change the subject of discussion, which is anger provoking.
15. Try to have rest or go to sleep.
16. Do something to distract your anger provoking thoughts.
Long Term Management:
1. Drink two glasses of water daily empty stomach when we get up in the morning.
2. Exercise daily for 30 minutes.
3. Do not smoke or chew tobacco.
4. Meditate for 20 minutes in the morning and evening.
5. Maintain optimum body weight.
6. Take a body massage daily, only for 5 minutes (Self-Massage - "Abhyanga").
7. Eat the right food, at the right time, at the right place, in the right manner, in the right dose in the right environment.
8. Have sattvic vegetarian food and not tamsic or rajsic food.
9. Eat more natural foods such as vegetables, fruits, salads and nuts - Almonds, etc.
10. Do not eat junk food such as fried food or sweets, etc.
11. Avoid a "pot-belly" abdomen.
12. Avoid unaccustomed exercise.
13. Remain cholesterol-fit.
14. Remain balanced in life.
15. Have adequate rest for 6-8 hrs everyday.
16. Don't burn both the ends of the candle at the same time.
17. Avoid lust, anger, greed, ego and attachment.
18. Be honest, truthful and dedicated for work.
19. Have good social support system.
20. Work with self-referral and not with object referral.
21. Don't feel lonely.
22. Have perfect choices to achieve any goal in a very peaceful manner.
23. Develop intimate relationship.
24. Become an embodiment of positive emotions such as love, compassion, humility, faith, confidence, peace, harmony, bliss and happiness.
25. Have planned daily routine and set weekly, monthly and yearly plans.
26. Take antioxidants such as lyco-red and vitamins.
27. Be non judgmental.
28. Do not criticize and not get influenced by criticism.
29. Hate no one.
30. Love everyone
