I know an old couple, they are really kind people but they don't believe much in all this witchcraft and thinks i'm into (in other words Wicca & Reiki ;D ), so giving them healing is not an option, they would never accept it since "it's just silly". Problem is that they have some terrible pains in their backs, and legs. So I did an experiment, in the kitchen they have a table and 4 chairs. So i programmed the chairs to become channels for Reiki and to heal whoever sat on them. Kind of the same way I'd do to charge a stone with Reiki. Needless to say, their cats likes the chairs, and the couple is feeling much better now Was it mean of me to give them Reiki without their knowledge?

It's been a great debate for a long time.
In my opinion, you have only their best intentions at heart for them, so I say no. I myself, have often helped people without their knowing, death in family, death of pets, and just plain old aches and pains.
Pretty much follow your heart, it will tell if timing is bad and/or if you get that feeling of not interfering. Use your best judgment.

ye that's a good idea, i'll wait till they can accept it and then tell them... But besides that, i think it was a pretty nifty idea to charge the chairs

Hi Marculus... I would have to agree and say you did the right thing.YOur intention was for the best of both persons.Dont feel it was being sneaky or deceitful.I feel that if at the end of the day if they really didnt want healing then they wouldnt recieve it no matter how hard you tried. The fact that they have improved makes me believe that deep down they wanted the healing, and that they accepted it, if not on a 'concious' level of thought. Good idea Marculus!!.

Just a suggestion but, try not to put Reiki and Wicca or Witchcraft into the same context. You will most likely turn off most people esp. older ones. I have found that most older people who finally give into trying Reiki love it

True, the older people are not so fond of it, even though the man to whom I prepared the chair with Reiki is the grandson of a "wise woman" as they call it over here... he knows a lot of witchcraft but he doesn't admit it unless we're alone with him

nice idea... sneaky... but nice. ;D i think the core intention is what matters in anything to do with reiki... that and just listening to yourself and what you feel would bring the greatest good to the situation.
