Hi All My dog was very badly treated in the first few months of his life, and when he came to us he had lots of problems that needed a lot of time and care to help sort out. He still has a lot of fears but he does seem to enjoy his life now ;D So when I was first attuned to Reiki, I thought it would be a good idea to practice on my dog. At first he was a bit unsure - he's never been a 'lap dog'. He loves having his tummy tickled but he doesn't like being held in any way. I started off by sending him Reiki to see how he reacted to it, then I slowly started introducing him to hands on Reiki. At first he would move away after a couple of minutes, then he started to lie on the sofa next to me and nudge my hands with his head to tell me he wanted me to touch him. And now he jumps onto my lap whenever he wants a bit of comfort, so I guess that after a slow start he must really enjoy it now ;D He doesn't like loud noises, so now if there is a thunderstorm he comes and sits with me to make him feel better. He now seems to know that if he's feeling a bit worried or scared about anything he can come to me for a bit of comfort. He's a Reiki addict like me now love stef

hi I take part in a dog share with my mate - top tip for full time workers. My user name is connected to this dog. When I first tried to give reiki to the dog she looked scared of me! She would then let me for a few seconds. And now she places herself at my feet and definitely looks forward to it. I have also noticed that she looks over my shoulder at something - I like to believe shes oggling at my guides, as i like to invite the full crew over too! cassiepiece

My cat Ripper is becoming a Reiki addict. At first he was very wary....... now he cant get enough, especially after I'm doing a self treatment or treating a friend, he must get in on the act!!! Blessings & Light Dear Selene! It is the same with my cat Emily she also canĀ“t get enough Reiki. The loves it if I put her the hands on the body. she began to purr loudly and move around so she would like to point me to put the hands on an other place. She is crazy in this ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Always if I give me sefl-treatment she comes along and sitting beside me. My other cat Momo is a bit skeptical. she appreciate or only accept Distant-Treatments. love, Brigitte
