Beauty: it's a word that so often people lose site of the true meaning of it.
Described as :
1 : the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit : LOVELINESS
2 : a beautiful person or thing ; especially : a beautiful woman
3 : a particularly graceful, ornamental, or excellent quality
4 : a brilliant, extreme, or egregious example or instance <that mistake was a beauty>
5 : a quantum characteristic that accounts for the existence and lifetime of the upsilon particle ; also : a particle having this characteristic
There is so much more to someone than it being just physical. Beauty goes to the depths of your soul! Your eyes are the windows of such luster. You can look at someone and see whether they are happy or sad, problems or elated.
So often we have judged others in such a harsh way, not really knowing their true beauty. Ever talk to someone (and they are not what we feel is beautiful physically) but once you speak to them the physical is no longer a issue since they shared their soul with you? You listen to them with great intent and you 'see' that what you thought was a physical part of who they are, is no longer relevant.
Our soul and our windows to our soul, hold no secrets. You can try to hide feelings, only for someone to look at you and they know how you feel.
Next time when you look at others, be kind, for they might be able to see into your windows.
love
