Hi folks, I'm back with my silly questions.
Some months ago I attuned a friend to Reiki 1 and some month later to Reiki 2. She contacted me recently and wanted the third attunement, but I kind of refused since it didn't feel right.
The way i see it is that the third attunement is for spreading the knowledge and attunements as a master and teacher, and i got the feeling she wanted the attunement for the illusion that she would become more powerful... (true it is a stronger connection)
Was I right to deny her the attunement?

Light:
I won't say whether you're right or wrong...what I will say is this: everything happens for a reason. I think you should follow your instincts in this, your intution is trying to tell you something. Just make sure it has nothing to do with the person -personally-.

Nah she is a dear friend of mine, I would never do anything to hurt her. But it just didn't feel right to do that.

Marcus~
You'll find that you have to go with your instincts on this. You know whats best for them. Sometimes with inexperience they just don't know.... they will learn. Explain to them as best as you can...with age comes wisdom and with learning comes experience....it all works out.

Thanx Ruth. I hope she will understand but then if she doesn't it just proves she is not ready

I don't think of it as a matter of right or wrong. the immediate question is more like how, and in what position you picture yourself when you turn down your friend's request I'm not trying to critisize your judgement - just giving another angle to the issue. love Michael

Hi Lightwanderer Intuition is your friend- and when working with energy- your first intuition is very often the right choice- there is a very good book called "blink" "The power of thinking with out thinking" and its all about paying attention to that first 2 seconds- of being in any situation- and learning how to pay attention to your very first sense-Feeling any using your intuition- to best advantage. here the link so you can check it out. www.amazon.com/Blink-Power-Thinking-Without/dp/0316172324 Stand tall be well LJ

hmm a funny thing is that when learning "remote viewing" (the NASA way) you learn that your first impressions are wrong, but that is totally offtopic.
Thanks for the reply and the booktips, I really need to learn to trust my instincts
