It's difficult to ask a client to remove perfume after its been applied. I do have it written in my brochure/literature.

Thanks for that, I had not thought to put in print not to wear perfume. I have a sensitivity to most perfume and end up with wet eyes and a sniffly nose. Where I am currently helping out (clininc) there are signs, but as you said...It is too late to tell people not to wear perfume when they are in the waiting room.

At work we had a person who wore strong perfume. When we hung up our coats in the same closet our clothes would pick up the smell.

i myself do not wear jewelry while doin attunements or treatments but thats just my personal choice the only thing i realy try not to wear is a watch as it has been said that the vibration levels raise so high that it can actually break the glass on the face of the watch or make the watch stop working all together. i have however experimented with this to see if it were true however i was not doing attunements just merely channeling for myself and my watch ended up being a few minutes off each time i did it. say i would check my watch before i started and make sure it was on with the actual time say like 2:16 pm then after wards it would actually be 2:30 pm on the wall clock and it would be like 2:25 on my watch i thought that this was pretty cool.
so just use your own discretion when you do treatments or attuements it is basically a matter of personal choice as well.

ps. also if you can attune objects to be open to reiki i do not see it as a problem to wear it while doing treatments or attunements

The only problem I have wearing a watch when facilitating a Reiki Session is that it's ticking might bother the recipent when working within the crown/third eye chakra area. It might not but I'm just sensitive to that possibility.
