Curious again...
If a person is attuned to one Reiki Master and then decides to switch to another who is of the same or similar lineage, is that okay or are we tied to one Reiki Master for ever?

Hi, Provided that you are staying within one system, there is no reason why you shouldn't change masters. It comes down to how you feel, if you started with one master and for some reason you're not getting on with them (style of teaching etc.) then it would be better to find a master you are more comfortable with. If you are not completely at ease with someone, then your spiritual growth will be slowed. It comes down to trust, you must trust your teacher and they you.

Hi, thanks for that. I'm okay with the Master/teacher that I have. However a friend of mine also has been attuned by her and is not happy, she feels as though the Master is not really interested in her progress. I do have to admit that in the class situation I get a feeling that the Reiki Master is not really 'connecting' with my friend also. I'm not sure why, but I can definately feel the energy flow and can see a glow around people (most people) and when discussing this with my friend she says that she feel nothing and sees nothing.
Possibly not really open to the Reiki energy??? Your thoughts on this would be much apprecaited.

I would say a clash of personalities, think about it for a moment... if you are in a room with someone you don't feel comfortable with, are you going to be as open as you can possibly be? myself, I'd close down my aura, shield my energy (unintentionally), all because emotionally I'm not in a relaxed state. To be open to the energy, you have to be comfortable with the people you are sharing it with.

I think you're right, Nick. Because Pam is so relaxed with Reiki for most of the time, the only exception being in the class group, what you suggest makes a lot of sense.
cheers

Good to talk the issue out. then you get a clearer picture.
It's best to be in the company of a teacher that responds to your needs as a student.
