I know this is going to sound ridiculous (I know I should know the answer) but what should I be visualising during a healing session?
When I am performing Reiki, if I can't feel a difference in an area of the body should I still ask for negativity to be taken away (and how will I know its lifted if I can't feel it?)
Also when I ask for negativity to be taken away should I be visualising that it is lifting? Should I visualise (imagine) that the Chakra has been cleansed?
AND... what happens if I can't sense where there is a blockage? Will it eventually become so?
I'm not doubting Reiki, just myself and my own abilities and I hope it won't get in the way because I know the good that Reiki does in the world.
Sincere apologies for my naive questions. x

Hello Donna,
Pleased to meet you! You are in my 'neck of the woods' - Tyne and Wear.
The short answer to your question(s) is to try and remove the idea of a 'right' or 'wrong' way of doing things. Let your intuition guide you and you'll never go far wrong.
All the best, Danny

:)And whether or not you "feel" it....know that the Reiki is there and doing what is supposed to be done. Have faith and confidence in yourself. Every session is different, every recipient is different, and every practitioner is different. What you experience during a session may be nothing like what someone else would experience. Just know that the Reiki has it's own intelligence and knows what to do. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Love, Joanie
