Hi Em This isn't a reply but... in the car today, my 6 y.o asked me if we, as his parents would be sorry if he lost sight on one eye... I told him of course we would but how did you come to think of such a bad thing? he answered if somebody mean would come and poke him in the eye...and from there I stopped him and told him that he'd be just fine if he just didn't think about such things so much. If you belive you'll be OK then you will be... as a parent, it's a bit upsetting knowing your 6 y.o child is actually thinking about these things...and I am sure he isn't bullied in school...because I was as a child and I am making myself very aware of his life away from home so history won't repeat in my son... on one hand, I might think it's OK for my child to do war games with toy rifles and such with his friends because I can then get an opening to tell him what war is actually all about...on a 6 y.o level obviously... on the other hand I find it frustrating that the harsh reality of the world so early can poison the mind of a child... we are the same, my son and I...we think waaayyyy too much anyway.. I try to teach my kids about the importance of positive mindful thoughts and shielding... all the small things... not a question... writing helps me to sort things and to think...sometimes, it's creative love M

Hi Em This isn't really a reply either Just something I read ages ago and it 'touched' me. Lucifer and satan
The issue of 'evil has been a thorny problem for philosophers throughout the ages, and especially for theologians trying to explain how dreadful events could be allowed by a benevolent and all-powerful God. One of the most terrible myths which has been handed down through the ages is the story of a prince of darkness, ruler of a terrifying place called Hell. He has been given many titles but is best known as Lucifer or Satan.
The name Lucifer means ' bringer of light' and was used by the translators of the Bible as another title for the 'day star', the planet Venus. The myth of Lucifer as a rebellious angel who was cast down from heaven is based on a misinterpretation of the biblical text. It was the early Christian Church that developed the idea of Lucifer as an evil prince of darkness who became the ruler of Hell. The Jewish teacher Jesus would not have recognised the idea of a separate, demonic power, with its own dark kingdom. Such a place, ruled by an evil overlord, would have to be somewhere where God had no power, an idea that is incompatible with an all-powerful and omnipresent God. Nor is a place of eternal punishment compatible with a loving God who wishes the best for all of us.
The same applies to Satan: although Satan, or the Devil, is a very real figure to some people, he or it has actually been created out of negative thought patterns and beliefs, and can therefore be disempowered by positive thoughts and energy. The Hebrew word 'satan' means 'adversary' or tester', and in early Bible stories God sends angels as satans, to test human beings. In the story of Job, this God-fearing man is ut through terrible tests by the angel Satan, but always with God's permission. It is worth remembering this whenever you find your life full of difficulties. Perhaps you have co-created a satan for yourself, who is testing your resolve and working hard to put you on the right track. The satans who turn up in our lives are messengers from the divine part of ourselves; every test calls something to ur attention and asks us to examine our motivations and intentions. A famous Christian Saint' Augustine, once said that the so-called bad angels exist in order to give us something to resist, so that we can become more virtuous.
It is worth understanding the origins of Lucifer and Satan, in order to diminish the idea that evil can have power over us. Any power the 'Devil' has was co-created over the centuries by human thoughts, images and fears, and can be dissolved with angelic help.
From 'Living with Angels' by Theolyn CortensIt's a bit of a long-winded way of saying STAY POSITIVE, and you will get through all your 'tests' love stef
