Hey All
I just got out from practicing this really nice meditation and I wish to share it with you all
To me this was a great meditation that besides its natural calming benefit, also produced a grounding feeling throughout and after the practice
First, find an asana ( posture) that gives you a firm base and a feeling of a strong foundation ( This can be any variations of the Lotus asanas, simply sitting on a chair and even laying down.)
Take in a full deep breath through the nose and once you have reached a comfortable yet feeling point, hold it for 10 seconds ( Or as long as it feels comfortable to you) Then slowly let it out through the nose. Do this about 3 times
Now breath at a normal pace, in through the nose and out through the nose and while you gaze up to your third eye (eyes closed) begin to feel the heaviness of your body. Try to experience the feeling of gravity pulling your base down to the ground. *** This is feeling and not so much visualization , but if that work for you go ahead ***
Feel the solidity and firmness of your body and stay here for as long as you feel comfortable.
It is important to do this in a relaxed fashion and attempting to be as comfortable as possible.
Ideally the second step from this point would be to become aware of the awareness that is aware of this physical stability. *** confused Don't worry, Take it step at a time First it is advised you practice this first meditation
Hope this helps:)
Have a great Day!
Love Light and Peace
