Many things have been said about this topic but rarely have I see anything on the "recipient's attitude/behaviour" towards the channeler (REIKI Practitioner). There is a disturbing trend out there regarding this matter: the SELFISHNESS QUOTIENT is ever-more increasing on the part of "Recipients" and I find this disrespectful towards the "Healer". Since I offer "free" distance healing to those who "need help"; and since I ask for their permission to send the healing; and since I DO NOT accept credit for the healing (should there be one); I MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT ACCEPT "rudeness" and "ingratitude" on the part of those people I will now call "WANTERS".
WANTERS are people who want it free; they want it now; their way. If they DON'T get it; they have the nerve to contact the practitioner in a most RUDE and disrespectful manner. These "wanters" are immediately BLOCKED from disturbing me again, because I am not here to accept abuse in any form.
Looks like I'll have to rework my FAQ page. Any suggestions from anyone who has encountered such people?

Do not remain in the dualistic state; Avoid such pursuits carefully. If there is even a trace Of this and that, right and wrong, The Mind-essence will be lost in confusion. Although all dualities come from the One, Do not be attached even to this One. When the mind exists undisturbed in the Way, Nothing in the world can offend, And when a thing can no longer offend, It ceases to exist in the old way. - Seng Ts'an (d. 606)
Let me put it this way a glass of wine can only affect you if you accept it. Cheers and love Sidney.

Dear friend: You'll meet this kind of people everywhere, not only in Reiki... life is full of rude people but also nice people, you can just decide whether they're worth an answer or they are not because they make you feel bad for something you haven't done BADLY.
They'll have to walk their own path, offering help is very generous but sometimes people just don't appreciate. Don't give up, what you do is BEAUTIFUL Cxtclr
