Kia ora everybody! My name is Rangimarie, I'm from Aotearoa (New Zealand) and am obviously new to Free Reiki International. I'm a Reiki 2 and totally love it! I've only ever had person to person attunements but am interested in what distance reiki (healings and attunements) have to offer. I havent been on my reiki journey long -I was attuned to level one in February (when I was eight months pregnant, yeah!) and level 2 in June. I've learnt so much over the last year but am very concious of the fact that the more I learn the more I have to learn -its endless and exciting!! I'm married and have five kids, and my youngest is a reiki baby LOL! With a big family and working part-time I get to use my reiki all the time which is great, in fact I almost cant remember what it was like before I had reiki -I feel like I've always had it (which the more I learn I realise I sort of have always had it!? if you know what I mean) Before being attuned I used to do energy healing work for friends and family when asked but reiki is so much more powerful and so much easier. I look forward to getting to know you guys and learning heaps from you and hopefully making useful contributions for others too! In love and light! Mauriora

Hey! I actually visted NZ in '08 and loved it! I also recall 'rangimarie' being a part of a song... I think it was Te Aroha? ...

Tehehe Mauriora is actually my sign off -it is a way of wishing someone good health and wellbeing in the Maori language (Maori are the indigenous people of New Zeland). My name is Rangimarie, which is also Maori and means peace. Cool sairadude that you came to New Zealand, it is a beautiful country, and thank you all for saying Hi and welcoming me to the site! I have so much to learn and am excited to be here!!
