Hi all...My puppy, Maggie, (well, she's 3 yrs. old) has seizures/epilepsy. She was severely malnourished when I got her which I think was the beginning of the problem and as she continued to have seizures it caused more neurological damage. She used to have these seizures often until I took her off of dog food and started feeding her brown rice meat and veggies. She gets a vitamin twice a week. She might have a few seizures a year now. Anyway, the last three or four times shes had a seizure I decided to try reiki. The first time I tried it she staggered around a little and her eyes went kind of wonky, but she didn't have a seizure. Second time I didn't catch it in time. Third time was even better than the first time. I knew one was coming on 'cause her rear right leg gave out and she got sick (her signs or "aura" they call it). I immediately started reiki and again avoided the seizure. Just thought I'd let y'all know. Hope it keeps working.

It's always a good thing to give healing, Animals respond well to reiki they even have animal reiki classes. It's lovely to hear you are "open" and trusted your self enough to do this.. remember some Tinned dog/cat food is high in water and 'other stuff' that is not good for them try dry food and home made dog food which I prefer as you make the food send the healing energy to the food and more importantly the water look up Masaru Emoto, see his article and pictures of how energy/words affect water . Try not to get tangled up in the dogs past they do live for the now they don't care about the past it's whats happening there and then that is so important to them focus on when you got her that is when your dogs life started Keep up your good work and a little picture would be nice so we can see how she's doing thank you for posting this

I hadn't thought of reiki-ing her food and water. That's a grand idea. I have seen Emotos' internet article on water. As a matter of fact I have it saved to my favourites. Isn't that amazing?! Thank-you for posting. I appreciate it.
