There must be an infinite number of ways to experience an attunement, and that's just the way it should be, since we're all individuals... even though we're one However, after you had that attunement it's not unusual that the mind and the body react in some way, due to the adjustment of energy in the system. You might feel very energized, tired, a slight nausea, dizziness, extremely happy... anything that is a bit out of the ordinary. To help the body adjust, make sure you drink a lot of spring water the following days, get proper sleep and eat proper and healthy food. Take some time to get out in a forest or just stay outdoors in the countryside, if you have the opportunity. A small grounding exersize, like imagining growing roots from the feet down into the earth, walking barefoot on the lawn, vacuuming the howse will help you... and, don't be scared. what you are experiencing is most natural and if you have any worries, share them here on Free Reiki, and we will all do our best to support you. love Michael

Nice thread Michael ;D Everybody experiences attunements differently, if you do not feel any strong sensations don't worry, this is normal. Not everyone gets 'hot hands' ;D love stef

Hi all, After the long wait, i am finally attuned to KR1..i started with lying down and did some deep breathing meditation to clear up my mind from any other thoughts just half an hour before the attunement..to be frank, i didnt feel anything on my spine but i do feel lots of energy on both my arm and hands..its really hard to describe the experience here..its between tingling sensation..mild vibration..hot to warm feeling and numbness as if my hand is expanding..but it might just be me..Anyways, im looking forward to my next KR2 attunement which is scheduled next Monday..and KR3 the week after that..i leave some gap in between the attuntment to make sure my body can assimilate and adapt to the new energy.. I will continue to meditate and let you know any differences i feel in the next 1 week.. Love Argonaut

Hi argonauty Thanks for sharing your attunement experience.......it's always good to read different experiences Make sure you treat yourself daily to get plenty of practice, drink plenty of water, and if you start to feel dizzy or 'spaced out' make sure you ground yourself. There are some good grounding procedures here: freereiki.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=new&action=display&thread=1113924386Also.....a nice walk on the beach is great for grounding ;D love stef

Good morning ppl..today i feel much much better.. my tiredness fortunely has subsided..but once in a while i still feel minor headache which is not as bad as what i anticipated.. and ole, yup the feeling is so good.. From my observation, whenever i think of reiki, i can feel some sort of energy sensation going down to my hand and palm instantly..not that strong and it lasted for few seconds only..hmmm, just wondering if anyone else here has experience the same thing..i know this might sound stupid, but could it be because my palm chakra is unstable? Good morning Argonauty, Many thanks for sharing your experience with us, all kind of strange things can happen with reiki your palm chakras are fine your attunement fixed any issues there, reiki flows out the center of our palms and down our fingers, mentioned this before but please keep your fingers closed when using reiki, some people think i make this up not true check out the net ;D headaches yes can happen that is where the reiki energy enters our body but its mainly due to a lot of energy flowing, it does make some people light headed drinking plenty of water and grounding helps, go give a tree a big hug ;D love, mick

Thanks for the tips Mick..yes you are right..the sensation is more on the fingertips..i noticed that everyday i experience new sensation..i guess my body is slowly adapting to the new energy..its kinda cool actually..and today im feeling very energetic..even my colleagues notice this.. i think im ready for the next KR2 attunement on Monday(or am i being too optimistic? hehehhe) quick question for all, is it possible to attuned to other branches of reiki, Usui in particular in between the attunement? Take myself as example..The scenario.. Monday week1- KR2 Wed week 1-Usui 1 Monday week 2-KR3 Wed week 2-Usui 2 Is this possible? The reason why i want to take up Usui reiki as well is because i think KR and Usui are 2 different healing method..Correct me if im wrong here, i think Usui and few other reiki draw energy from universe..in KR, i think we're tapping the energy from inner coil.. Hopefully by taking up usui, i can integrate both styles during my healing session.. If i remember correctly, this can be done Would appreciate any comments on this..Thanks in advance wise ppl!
